Jennie Cimino believes every child has unique gifts from God and that those gifts can be used to climb to beautiful heights. To Jennie, education has the power to transform the lives of individuals as well as their families and communities. Together, these unite for God’s glory and the success of each student. A seasoned educator, Jennie has spent the last 20 years serving as a teacher, library media specialist, program coordinator and cross country/track coach. She has earned a B.A. and M.Ed. and holds teacher, reading specialist and administrator licenses. In addition to launching Summit Christian Academy, she serves on the board of the local youth hockey organization and is a member of Cedarbrook Church in Menomonie, Wis. When launched, SCA will aim to help children discover and refine their gifts so that they can make an impact in the world. SCA will focus on educating the whole child by helping children grow spiritually, academically and culturally. In a unique blend of classical Christian pedagogy and project-based learning (PBL), SCA will foster curiosity and encourage students to delve deeper into the wonder and majesty of God’s creation. Children who attend Summit will be equipped to be Kingdom builders in whatever career path they choose.
