Jack Johnson Pannell is the head of school and founder of Trinity Arch Prep. He is a nationally recognized leader, thinker and writer about boys’ education. As the founder of a boys’ public charter school in Baltimore, Mr. Pannell gained national recognition for the outcomes at his school, where boys at Baltimore Collegiate consistently outscored Baltimore City students on state proficiency exams. Mr. Pannell is the recipient of the prestigious Aspen Pahara Education Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, where he is a moderator of Aspen Seminars for emerging leaders. He also moderates Teen Socrates for the Aspen Institute and is the co-author of an award-winning coming-of-age novel entitled “Lunch Money Can’t Shoot.” Lastly, Mr. Pannell is engaged in global boys’ education matters as a North American International Boys’ School Coalition trustee. An Amherst College graduate with a bachelor’s degree in American studies, he also holds a J.D. degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and possesses a certificate from the Harvard Business School Executive Education program in School Management and Leadership.
