Alecia Everett-Hollinger is the Founder and CEO of Bright Imaginations Learning Centers, an early childhood education center established in 2007.. Through the Drexel Fund Alternate Path program, she is co-Founding Bright Imaginations Preparatory Schools (BIP), a K-5 elementary school scheduled to open in Fall 2026. Throughout her career, Alecia has demonstrated a strong commitment to educational excellence, working to create environments where every child can thrive. By leveraging her deep understanding of curriculum design, educational leadership, and community engagement, she seeks to build a school model that not only meets the immediate needs of students and families but also offers a blueprint for success that can be replicated in other communities. Mrs. Everett-Hollinger’s entire career has been dedicated to education for over 26 years. Alecia earned both a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 1999 and a Master of Arts in Varying Exceptionalities from the University of Central Florida in 2003. Alecia took her passion to nurture and educate the young to Orange County Public Schools in Orlando, Florida where she served as an Elementary School Teacher for nearly a decade for grades 3-5. Ultimately, Mrs. Everett-Hollinger served as a Varying Exceptionalities Instructional Coordinator with Orange County Public Schools. Alecia’s cofounder, Logan Libertore, is an accomplished Early Childhood Educator and Executive Director with over seven years of leadership experience in Preschool Programs across multiple Bright Imaginations locations. She is known for her commitment to equity, whole-child development, and innovative educational design. Ms. Libertore studied Child and Adolescent Psychology and Development at Southern New Hampshire University. Prior to her leadership in Early Education, she served as a Family Specialist and Care Manager, working closely with neurodiverse and at-risk youth. In that role, she forged impactful partnerships with local charities and donors to secure funding for treatment and support services—further demonstrating her passion for child advocacy and community collaboration. As a participant in the Drexel Fund Alternate Path program alongside Alecia, Logan will serve as Co-Founder in the design and launch of Bright Imaginations Preparatory Schools (BIP). Her work centers on building a replicable school model that expands access to high-quality, inclusive education in underserved communities.
